Judith Forrest -
'Holding the Line' drawings and sculpture
For Judith, drawing is a daily activity.
In this exhibition, she moves from the A6 sketchbook format to
larger, more considered A3 works in crayon and watercolour. While
the subject matter will be recognisable to those who know her work,
these mediums allow freedom to play with the images and explore
different approaches to composition and subject matter.
Accompanying these drawings are coloured forton (gypsum/resin
compound) sculptures, the studious visitor will find some of these
characters also appear in the drawings. |

Simon
Cowling - Photography
SideTripper – a thoroughly unreliable memoir.
Simon Cowling’s images of walls, of idle scribblings, of dramatic
graffiti, of crazy signage, of advertising hoardings, of torn and
long-forgotten posters, of strange architectural juxtapositions are
glimpses of a peripheral vision – did they really look like that?
SideTripper is a travel story, a way of remembering
the memorable through the mundane.
